My Ultimate 211 SET Power Amp

Post by noodle88 on Thu Aug 28, 2014 12:49 pm

Hi!

I have been playing with some flea power amp all these while.

71a @ 700mW
10Y @ 1.3W
45.  @ 2W
2a3 @ 3.5W
300B @ 8W

This time I take up the challenge to built a 211 SET amp with 801a as driver. This would be a 2 stages amp with input and output transformers.

Information of this amp can be found in Thomas Mayer's blog
http://vinylsavor.blogspot.com/2013/12/making-of-801a-211-amplifier-part-1.html?m=0#comment-form.

Hi Tlkoo,

I bought a full 211 SET kit from Thomas Mayer.
Knowing the high voltage at 1350V, I will work closely with Thomas to ensure this project run smoothly and safely.
Anyway thanks for your concern.
